Corte Madera Market update 12-08 to 2-10…

Corte Madera is located 12 miles North of San Francisco. The town is tucked away between Mill Valley and Larkspur and is known as “The hidden jewel of Marin.” Corte Madera is four square miles and was famous for producing lumber from Redwood Trees. Marin is an interesting market. There is 8 1/2 months worth of  of inventory on the market right now. A slight decline over the last two months but still a significant amount of inventory for buyers to choose from.  The average days on market is 95 which has been consistent since February 2008.  The median price for a home in Marin County fell between $675K and $780K for the last 5 months.
